Balcombe 1959 - Hut Clean Out. For those who served at the Army Apprentice School during the late 50s and early 60s will remember the dreaded hut clean out, which had the entire hut contents being taken out onto the road and the floor cleaned by bricking, the rubbing of bricks on the floor to make it clean and white. This picture is taken looking down the road leading to the Parade Ground. Hut Moresby is in the right foreground with Mo Murakami sitting on the bed.
